Artists from across the world, united by a common passion, came together to celebrate the ever-growing emotional reach of the guitar as a means of expression. We watched in awe as this instrument continued to transcend borders, languages, and styles. There is room for all voices, as long as we have stories to tell — honestly, and always in service of the music. What a magic night of music last evening @92ndstreety !!! Watching and listening to two masters play. @bertarojasb and @bertarojasb @paquitodrivera With expert grace they invited the listener into a joyous and equally moving cultural journey of Paraguayan music. Miss Rojas held her guitar like a proud loving mother and caressed it in soothing lullaby. Equally #clarinetist and #saxophonist @neaarts #jazzmaster D’Rivera seemingly courted, cooed and complimented in a manner evocative of two childhood sweethearts who have only but in their golden hours rediscovered their romance and deep love. And in the sold out house that was there as witness, we too were rekindled, our soul stirred to the possibilities and wonders of all, especially the very human gift of #music This evening was a reminder that the arts is the greatest ambassador to cross-cultural understanding and the cure all to political strife. Thank you.
